Why did my bet change from a Prediction to Majority Wins?

We get asked a lot about bets that change from Prediction to Majority Wins, or that are removed altogether.  Since introducing quizzes, the rules for categorizing a bet have changed a little, and have become a little stricter.  Just as a reminder:

• Prediction bets are used to predict the future.  If there is an outcome that will be known in the future, then the bet is a prediction bet.
  
  
• Majority Wins bets are to poll other users on opinions and ideas, they will be settled automatically for the majority opinion.
  
  
• Quiz bets are for all questions with a factual outcome that is currently known.

We have a team of editors working around the clock to make sure all bets are categorized correctly so that BluBet can be both fun and fair.  It's important to keep in mind that all Quiz bets that are miscategorized will be deleted, and all Majority Wins bets that are created as Prediction bets will be altered accordingly.  However, sometimes we can make mistakes.  If you think your Prediction bet was mistakenly changed to a Majority Wins bet, please contact us at feedback@blubet.com or the House account on BluBet at http://www.blubet.com/user/house
