We just did a redesign of many parts of BluBet! The redesign affected most of the site, but it's most noticeable on bet pages, where we've made the creator of a bet more prominent, put everything you can do on a bet in one place, and made several other tweaks to the design.

Ever want to see what other people are doing on BluBet? Now you can with Alerts. Every so often, when someone does something on BluBet, you'll see a little alert pop up in the lower-right corner of your browser.
Right now, we'll let you know when someone logs in, creates a bet, and places a bet. Also, you'll be alerted when people comment on bets and profiles or give props and heckles. We might add other alerts in the future, so you'll have to hang out on BluBet to find them! :)
We recently launched the ability to add images to your bets. Then we realized we usually don’t have pictures of Britney Spears or Ben Bernanke on our computers. So, to make adding images to your bets even easier, we’ve added Google’s image search to help you find pictures for your bet’s choices.
It’s super easy to use. All you do is type in your bet’s choice, click on “add image”, and images for your bet choice appear. Click the “select” button under the image you think best represents your choice and that’s it! You can still upload images too.
We’ve been playing with this feature a lot at the BluBet office and really think you’re going to enjoy it. As always, let us know if you have any suggestions about how we can make this feature or our service better.
We have a lot of closed BluBets, so we decided to do something with them and created the BluBet Challenge.
Here's how it works:
Select the answer that you think the majority bet on. If you're right, you get 10 points. If you're wrong, you go to the next question. The leaderboard is below the question, so you'll always know how far from the leaders you are.
Play as many questions as you can to get to the top of the leaderboard. If there are no more questions, come back tomorrow because new questions are added daily!

We have some serious experts on BluBet who are usually correct when they bet. They know a lot about a subject and use that knowledge on BluBet. We noticed that and decided to show everyone else the best players in different topics by wins and winnings. So, you'll notice that we now have achievements for people that win lots of bets in a certain topic. We'll award these every month to show who really knows their stuff!

Because of your feedback, we just launched the ability to add pictures for bet choices. To add a picture, click on the "add image" link next to each bet choice. A little window will appear that will let you browse and find your picture. Click upload and the picture will show up beneath your choice.
Then, after creating your bet, you'll notice that we put the images next to the bet choices. Placing your bet is easier too, all you have to do is click on the choice that you want to bet on. If you want to send the bet to your friends, just click on the "Challenge Friends" under the bet.

We've been cranking out new features here at BluBet! You may have noticed that you can now reply to comments in a bet. Disagree with someone's comment about whether the Spice Girls will play in Baghdad? Just hit the Reply link next to comment and type in your reply! Replying also notifies the original commenter that someone replied to them.
